Geraldine Lau works directly on the wall to create a site-specific drawing. She uses everyday, common bonding materials like tapes and vinyl adhesives to explore aspects of layered history and cartography (map making). Inspired by turn-of-the-century maps, Lau reveals accidental and manipulated inaccuracies hidden within the authority of mapped information. Information Retrieval 65 is based on a 17th century map of Paris.
