Dashiell Manley

Dashiell Manley (b. 1983, Fontana, CA) is a painter and filmmaker who lives and works in Los Angeles. His paintings and videos are the result of tedious, repetitive processes in which Manley layers abstract and representational images in vibrant color. Manley has also created installations and set designs for films and performances.

Manley has been featured in recent solo exhibitions at Silverlens Gallery, Manila, Philippines (2020); Jessica Silverman Gallery, San Francisco, CA (2020); Marianne Boesky Gallery, New York (2018); and Los Angeles Nomadic Division (LAND), Los Angeles, CA (2017), among others. His work is included in the permanent collections of the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, CA; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, CA; and the Pomona College Museum of Art, Claremont, CA, among others.
