Ray Johnson’s unseen work
October 20 2014

Don’t miss Ray Johnson’s exhibition at Karma Gallery (39 Great Jones St, New York, NY 10012)!
The show is a collection of previously unseen work by Ray Johnson (b.1927 – 1995). With a sly use of puns, codes, inside jokes and wit, Johnson creates complex and multi-layered portraits of himself and of other subjects.
A comprehensive publication was released in conjunction to the exhibition, and can be pre-ordered here. This book includes 296 color illustrations of collages, drawings, interventions, and other memorabilia.
The exhibition runs through November 1, 2014.
