In December 2016, Ricci Albenda graciously hosted Friends of RxArt for an engaging evening in his studio and exploration of his latest work.
Throughout his career, Ricci Albenda has experimented with text and color, which he sees as simultaneous visual, personal, communal and intellectual entities. Albenda’s work is in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York; among others. Recent solo exhibitions have been held at Andrew Kreps Gallery, New York (2015) and Gladstone Gallery, Brussels (2014).
