RxART is proud to have NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem as an ongoing partner. An example of #RxARTTransformationTuesday, this video is of Ms. Sylvia White, Deputy Executive Director of NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, at the ribbon-cutting celebration for our Keith Haring Project. In 2018, RxART installed this wall mural designed by the late Keith Haring in the waiting area of the Pediatric Emergency Department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. The project transformed the space into an environment that provides a positive distraction as patients wait to receive critical care. In 2020, we are proud to continue working with Harlem Hospital and will be expanding the transformation of the Pediatric E.D. in collaboration with Derrick Adams, who has designed vibrant wall coverings for the treatment rooms.
