In 2017, Ryan McGinley presented the RxART Inspiration Award to Dan Colen at the RxART PARTY. We honored Dan for his extraordinary mural installation “Moments like this…,” which transformed the Activity Center at St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital. Ryan, who has been friends with Dan since high school, also partnered with RxART on a project: his photographs of US Olympians were installed throughout the Adolescent Psychiatric Unit at King’s County Hospital in 2010.
