On Friday, November 5th, RxART was graciously hosted by PUBLIC Hotel at BAR CHRYSTIE, where we celebrated the release of Between the Lines – Volume 8 with some of the participating artists, including cover star Derrick Adams, whose marvelous imagery also graces the sticker spread of the latest edition of the RxART Coloring Book. We were joined by Dr. Alexie Puran, who led the charge with starting RxART’s collaboration with NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he is a doctor in the Pediatric Emergency Department. Derrick worked with RxART, Dr. Puran, and his colleagues to transform the treatment rooms throughout the hospital’s ED, bringing joyful images of summer playtime and children to such highly sensitive spaces.
