RxArt proudly honored the incomparable Urs Fischer, who was presented with the RxArt Inspiration Award by Jessica Morgan, Director of Dia Art Foundation. The delicious food was brought to us by Mina Stone, author of Cooking for Artists who creates delicious and colorful meals for the studio of Fischer and others.
Sara Friedlander, Christie’s Vice President and Head of the Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale, led a outstanding live auction with works by Urs Fischer, Sam Falls, KAWS, José Parlá, Rob Pruitt, Ed Ruscha, and Juergen Teller.
The magical evening featured works by 40 distinguished artists and decor by Urs Fischer. Harold Ancart created the 2015 limited edition print exclusively for RxArt.
All proceeds support RxArt’s mission to help children heal through the extraordinary power of visual art.
