RxArt worked with Sam Falls, Urs Fischer and Laura Owens at Cedars-Sinai’s Maxine Dunitz Children’s Health Center in Los Angeles, CA to transform the pediatric inpatient unit. Original designs by each artist were installed on the ceilings of 16 rooms where hospitalized children spend the majority of their time. Rather than being surrounded by a completely sterile environment, the vibrant artwork crowning the rooms will captivate the patients’ imaginations and provide healthy distractions.
