In 2014, Rob Pruitt produced a wall mural of his iconic zebra patterns and panda imagery in the Child Life Room at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. The mural was fabricated with dry-erase material, providing the patients with a creative outlet that inspires social and artistic interaction. It also serves as a form of physical therapy for patients with impaired fine motor skills. St. Mary’s specializes in providing outstanding care to patients with chronic illness, serious injury, cerebral palsy, brain injury, congenital heart disease, and neurological, respiratory, and orthopedic disorders. The hospital provides care to over 2,000 patients annually.
