In October 2009, RxArt completed its first installation in a New York City public hospital. Original drawings and prints by Ben Jones, Laura Owens, Paul Henry Ramirez, Chris Martin, and Garrett Phelan among others were installed in Gouverneur's Pediatric Unit.
Both RxArt and the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, the public benefit corporation that operates New York City's public hospitals, are thrilled with this first installation and look forward to future projects in New York City public hospitals that are already being planned.
