Allison Zuckerman

Allison Zuckerman (b. 1990, Harrisburg, PA) creates massive paintings that begin as digital collages made from famous paintings, cartoons, and advertisements that she prints onto a canvas and paints over. She works within pop and appropriation art but her origins as an Instagram artist exemplify how her work is by and large a product of social media and the digital age.

Zuckerman has been featured in recent solo exhibitions at Kravetz Wehby Gallery, New York (2021, 2020); Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, Israel (2019); and Akron Art Museum, OH (2018), among others. She lives and works in New York City. Zuckerman is featured in Between the Lines: An RxART Coloring Book by Contemporary Artists – Volume 8.  Click here to download and color her drawing spread.
