Kristine Moran

Kristine Moran (b. 1974,  Montreal, Canada) is a Brooklyn-based abstractionist who creates colorful, geometric compositions. She believes in spontaneity, allowing new subject matter to arise throughout the painting process. Without delving into representation, Moran communicates personal narratives through layered textures and sweeping forms.

Moran has been featured in recent solo exhibitions at Tom Thomson Gallery, Owen Sound, Ontario (2021); Daniel Faria Gallery, Toronto (2020); and Nicelle Beachene Gallery, New York (2013), among others. Moran is featured in Between the Lines: An RxART Coloring Book by Contemporary Artists – Volume 8. Click here to download and color her spread.
