Agostino Iacurci

Agostino Iacurci (b. 1986, Foggia, Italy) is a Berlin-based artist who works in painting, murals, sculpture, drawing, and installation. Iacurci’s mysterious figures are often deconstructed in strange ways — a torso is replaced by a potted plant with a top hat, a face is replaced by a treehouse — creating a world of whimsy and magic. His clean, geometric style lends itself well to public art installations such as those at Artplay in Moscow, the Besançon University campus, or the Fubon Art Foundation in Taipei.

Iacurci has been featured in recent solo exhibitions at Musei Civici, Pesaro, Italy (2019); BC Gallery, Berlin (2019); M77 Gallery Milan (2018); and Celaya Brothers Gallery, Mexico City (2017), among others. Iacurci’s work is featured in Between the Lines: An RxART Coloring Book by Contemporary Artists – Volume 8Click here to download and color his spread.
