Hilary Pecis (b. 1979, Fullerton, CA) is a painter known for her maximalist still-lifes and landscapes of contemporary Southern California. Her enormous, colorful paintings are characterized by a fauvist flatness, overwhelming patterning, and cluttered interiors.
Solo exhibitions of the artist’s work have been held at Timothy Taylor Gallery, London (2021); Art Production Fund, NY (2021); Spurs Gallery, Beijing (2020); Rachel Uffner Gallery, NY (2020); and The Pit, Los Angeles (2019), among others. Pecis lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Pecis is featured Between the Lines: An RxART Coloring Book by Contemporary Artists – Volume 8.
