Steven Harrington

Steven Harrington (b. Los Angeles, CA) is considered a leader of the contemporary Californian psychedelic-pop aesthetic. There’s a timeless quality to his playful yet contemplative work, which is inspired by California’s mystique, vastly diverse landscape, and thriving mix of cultures. Embracing a multimedia approach, Harrington’s portfolio includes large-scale installations made of plaster and stone, hand-screened prints, limited-edition books, skateboards, and sculptures. He has done commercial collaborations with Nike, AAPE *By A Bathing Ape®, Warby Parker, Snapchat, Kith, and Ikea among others.

Harrington’s most recent solo exhibitions have been held at Magic Hour, Los Angeles (2019); IFS, China (2018); Hypefest, Brooklyn (2017); and Colette, Paris (2015), among others. Harrington lives and works in Los Angeles. Harrington’s work is featured in Between the Lines: An RxART Coloring Book by Contemporary Artists – Volume 8.
